Famous New York Yankees Players

After reading the article “Famous New York Yankees Players” I could not believe how many well known famous baseball players played for the New York Yankees. I am from New York, and it makes me proud to be a New Yorker.

This article mentions how Babe Ruth that was known as “The Sultan of Swat” he was the main reason that baseball is so popular today. He started it all by changing the game from speed with low scores to a high scoring power game.  It was amazing to learn that Babe Ruth was the third greatest US player ever.  I think that is simply amazing especially knowing that he played in 1927.
