Electroshock Therapy

After reading the article Electroshock Therapy I found this article very interesting to point where this information is really something that people should really know about especially if you know anyone with mental illness.  I never knew that electroshock therapy has been around for 70 years, but has been the most popular in the last 20 years.

This therapy has a 30 percent chance of treating depression over medication. That is really good to know.  It may also cure schizophrenia, many psychiatric states, and mania.
The only downfall is that it does have side effects, and that is memory loss which is one of the most common, but hey if it helps your illnesses it may be worth it. I found this article totally worth reading.
