New York Liberty

Staten Island is home of the Statue of Liberty. It is said to be a very good place to visit at least one time in your life. It has wonderful scenery which will mesmerize you if you have never been there. The Island is in the state of New york and it has many tourists daily. Staten Island is separated from New Jersey and from the rest of New York by New York Bay. You can visit Staten Island during the week but you have to catch it in the right time.

Tourists buys tickets to ride a ferry, a bus or railway to the Island where you can reach the Statue of Liberty and take the elevator all the way to the crown. Staten Island has many features and places for entertainment. It has parks, eateries, shopping and many attractions for all ages. The population on the Island is around 480,000 and people find themselves really enjoying the great atmosphere that surrounds them. The calm water that surrounds the island brings a refreshing feeling to all those who visit or live there. Be careful because much of the year is cold and the temperatures drop especially near the water. This, however, does not stop people from getting on the ferry to take a tour of the Statue of Liberty.
